Accolades

Hogback Hill Farm had a good showing at the Erie Hunt and Saddle Club Year End Awards Banquet. Vita won Champion Jumper with Toby aka. I’m Your Huckleberry and Champion Event Rider with PJ aka. Pirate Jack! PJ also got the Reserve Champion Jumper award. Both horses were Reserve Champion for their respective Hunter Pace Series divisions as well!

Other achievements this year included PJ finishing 4th on his dressage score in his first Starter horse trial with Vita riding and winning the Nell Hardy Combined Test, also on his dressage score. Toby won his division at the Mini Trial earlier in the year (his first time!) and both horses won a class in the Jumper Derby and placed high in the rest!

Looking forward to moving onwards and upwards next year!

2011 HHF News

2011 has been a busy year at Hogback Hill Farm! The cross country schooling field was refitted and will be able to be put to use next year! The bridle path has been getting fixed up with gravel and tree trimming. We added a couple project horses to the herd. Harry is a three year old Thoroughbred gelding and Ginny a ten year old large pony mare. Spring of 2011 brought a handful of new students, which Holly spent the summer teaching to ride.
