Success Stories
Phoenix Rising
Phoenix came directly here after being stitched up by a vet due to multiple horrific injuries from barbed wire. Her herd had left her for dead. She nearly bled to death and we were not sure for the first couple days if she would make it. Even though we caught her mother immediately and brought her here, she violently rejected the filly. I had to clean her wounds, administer meds, and give her milk feedings multiple times a day. She made a complete recovery and should suffer no long term effects from the injury. She went home and is doing great!
Twilight
Twilight, a Hunter/Jumper pony came here to recover from a slight fracture in her right knee and for therapy for the arthritis that set in during the time before it was correctly diagnosed. We brought her to a clinic in Cleveland multiple times to diagnose and monitor the situation. Twilight had IRAP therapy injections done on her knee. In the course of a year Twilight had a lot of time off, multiple x-rays, some meds, lots of cold therapy and slow reintroduction to turnout and work under saddle. She was able to return to her family in Florida where she is now jumping again with her young rider.
